» wesker joins the us army as a chemical officer in 1991, believing the g-virus work to be beyond his abilities and limits. he aids the us army in biohazard prevention, but likewise sends information to umbrella about the army’s biochemical weapons programs.» becomes the captain of the stars team in 1996. he’s an expert strategist and genuinely enjoys the work, often feeling more alive in times of danger, but retains his calm demeanor. stars is a point of pride for him, despite his simultaneous attempts to prevent the team from discovering any of umbrella’s illegal escapades in raccoon city. ultimately, he betrays his team in favor of umbrella after the arklay t-virus leak. he betrays the team, using them for combat data before the destruction of the facility and his faked death.» wesker tends to be self-serving, motivated towards his own goals. he works with those who can serve his purpose, keeping a distant and impersonal demeanor, to prevent forming attachments.

HEADCANONSwesker's childhood looked normal, all things considered. as part of the wesker project, he was essentially stolen at birth. while he has a biological twin, the two were separated, with albert being raised by a couple chosen by umbrella. he had no knowledge that the parents that raised him weren't his biological parents until he was an adult.years in private boarding schools gave him minimal attachments to his parents. and given that they were technically monitoring him for project w, he looks at his childhood with a different lens now.while wesker thrived in sciences and as a researcher, he didn't particularly care as much about it. it's more or less conditioning and indoctrination by umbrella. it's why he seeks out the military early in his career and founds the s.t.a.r.s team. it gives him both the science, which fascinates him, but also gave him more of the life that he wanted and saw for himself.what wesker wants vs. what wesker is essentially programmed to chase is a big point of conflict that really doesn't come to a head until after the final progenitor injection and his "death" by the tyrant.wesker uses his death as the point of change for himself. he died and awoke different. angrier. more resentful. less human.

my portrayal of armand blends the novel with amc's adaptation. i can write one or the other, if you prefer it too. the novels are extremely important to me and armand's characterization and history remains mostly the same. while his birthdate may be different in the show, i've kept his novel birthyear. the only difference being that he was given the dark gift in his early 20s.unlike in the show, he cannot, under any circumstance walk around in the sun. while he's old enough, and strong enough to survive an encounter with the sun, it wouldn't be without severe consequences.

he is not leadership material. following his capture by mindflayers, everything feels like it happens almost by accident.he is not a good strategist. he charges headfirst into things, often relying on his companions to both keep him grounded and to stop him from acting impulsively.he tends to say the first thing that comes to mind and while he never intends to cause harm or to hurt the feelings of good people, he's king of misunderstandings and saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. most of his brawls come from wild misunderstandings.

lusca is extremely adventurous and lets his curiosity get the best of him. he's not the type to say no to opportunity and rarely thinks about the consequences first. likewise, he won't say no to a good time. he loves any opportunity to party or celebrate, preferring to make light of most situations.he hoards valuables and non-valuables alike. lusca grew up with very little and he collects gold like a dragon and has no qualms about stealing (as long as he doesn't get caught).for interactions with other tavs, lusca joins the party early on. he practically invites himself along after the crash.WIP MORE TO COME.

benji's grew up in poverty, his earliest memories are of being held by his brother as they begged on the streets.he's a kid that had to learn to take care of himself, often seeing himself as much older than he is, despite being very much a child.while he's kidnapped by sybelle's brother to keep her company, he sees sybelle as a captive herself and grows close to her like a sibling. while her brother terrifies him, she's his closest friend and he would die protecting her if he had to.when armand kills her brother, he comes to see the vampire as their protector.he's turned by marius at the age of 12 and enthusiastically embraces becoming a vampire. his mortal life was shitty, but in vampirism, he has a family in armand and sybelle. initially, he doesn't understand why armand's upset about the transformation.in current times, he's a podcaster. while i don't follow pl canon, benji does become a podcaster, using his voice to talk about the supernatural, including reaching out to other vampires.he has an infatuation with all things supernatural, particularly spirits and ghosts. very much the vampire sneaking into old haunted buildings, trying to capture a spirit.as he ages, he does struggle with growing up while remaining a child who doesn't grow up.for his amc verse, he can either be made recently or still in the late 90s. i'm still working that out.
